What's the preferred method for reporting a service outage. I have experienced two short outages this week and want to be sure I go through the proper channels.
That is an excellent question. The best method is to call 385-437-HELP (4357) or the regular Salem Fiber phone number at 385-437-4411.
The only outage we experienced this week was during the maintenance window which is Thursday morning from midnight until 8 AM. We don’t use the maintenance window most weeks but this week we had to replace a defective fiber terminal and the outage affected about a dozen customers.
System outages are so rare it looks like I never post about them but we haven’t had any for so long. Please don’t hesitate to call if you are experiencing issues. We want to help because we want everyone to love the network as much as we do!
